Daniel Fleetwood, a 32-year-old Star Wars fan with spindle cell sarcoma, is trying to see the new film before it's released.

Fleetwood was informed in July that he only has months to live, so his wife started a Twitter campaign, using #ForceForDaniel in attempt to try and get someone involved with the movie to notice.

There has been some traction as the hashtag has since gone viral. Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the original trilogy, retweeted Fleetwood's wife original tweet. Series newcomer, Jon Boyega has also shown his support by doing the same.

While there hasn't been an official announcement from the studio or director J.J. Abrams regarding letting Fleetwood see the movie early, you have to think it's going to happen.

Abrams granted a dying fan a similar wish by allowing him to see 2013's Star Trek Into The Darkness early. The Star Trek fan, Daniel Craft, died just days after seeing the movie.
