Your old bras are just stacked in your drawer waiting for your to throw them out, but before you do that, consider sending it to North Carolina.

In what seems like the most genius story I've ever read, an animal rescue center in North Carolina is using old bra clasps to save turtles.

CNN reports that Carolina Waterfowl Rescue uses a technique somewhat similar to fixing a broken bone, 'The staff glues cracked shells shut and holds them together with wire, which is hooked to the bra clasp to stay put.'

While they also save many other animals, they see up to forty injured turtles a week because of car accidents.

You can ship your bras to: Carolina Waterfowl Rescue, P.O. Box 1484, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
