YouTube Star Blippi Bringing Musical Tour to Illinois in February

If you're asking "Who is Blippi?" you might not have kids at home.

As a father of three, I'm well aware of who Blippi is and what he does.

Blippi is a fun, energetic character known for his signature blue and orange outfit and his entertaining and educational videos. He helps teach kids colors, letters and so much more!

That's not all, Blippi's YouTube channel has 14M subscribers. That's a mind-melting number.

Blippi has become such a huge name on the internet he now has a musical tour.

He originally made stops in Illinois a few months ago, but in case you missed it, Blippi will be returning again in 2022.

However, reviews of the show have been all over the place.

Krys on Ticketmaster said about the Blippi show last month that he "Was not the real actor, which would of been okay but they didn't do the Harlem Shake!? Overall, meh..."

While another person reviewed the musical mentioning "Blippi and his friends did a great job! Much cuter than I expected. Ticket prices were a little high, but overall it was great!"

As far as ticket prices at this time for Blippi's Illinois show at the Rialto Square Theater in Joliet, they aren't listed.

Based on some of the other venues Blippi is touring it's safe to say you're probably going to have to plunk down at least $50 a ticket.

Tickets are currently in pre-sale mode, meaning you need a special code to purchase them early. They go on sale to the general public this Friday, at 10 a.m. Blippi the Musical cruises through Illinois on Friday, February 22.
