Sure, all coffee shops have some sort of pumpkin drink, but I for one won't be ordering those. Instead I'm curious to try the following fall drinks that you can only find at local Rockford coffee shops.
Meg's Daily Grind - Apple Pie Latte
- The Apple Pie Latte is Meg's 'Latte of the Week,' right now, but hopefully you can order it all season long! Their Facebook page says it's a mix of Apple, vanilla, and cinnamon powder.'
Rosie's Coffee Company - Salted Brown Butter Truffle Latte
- This is the kind of fall flavors I'm here for! Rosie's shared a dreamy photo of this latte on their Facebook page touting their latte is just as nice as pumpkin spice.
Rockford Roasting Company - Fall and Oates
- I've had this one and it's literally what fall should taste like! The Fall + Oates is a mix of maple syrup, espresso and cinnamon spiced oat milk. I believe you can get it iced, too, but warm might be the best version.

Rockford Roasting Company - Dead Leaves
- I haven't had this one, but I mean how can you have a list of fall finds and not include something named, 'Dead Leaves?' This one is espresso, smoked black tea syrup, milk and smoked sea salt. Sounds pretty Fall-y to me.
And if you're not ready to say goodbye to the sweetness of summer:
Inzombia Coffee - Amari's Strawberry Cupcake
- Fall is still sweet right? Inzombia Coffee just reintroduced Amari's Strawberry Cupcake which is served with oat milk and cold brew, have you tried it yet?
