One neighborhood in Roscoe, Illinois is about to have the largest garage sale event of the year.  Will you be there?

If you're anything like me, you love thrift stores, flea markets, antique shops, and garage sales.  Emphasis on garage sales!  The annual Chicory Ridge Neighborhood Garage Sale is kickin' off this Saturday, May 17th, and Sunday, May 18th, and let me tell you—it’s the big one.

With 63+ homes participating, you have so many chances to take home something unique and one-of-a-kind.  Make sure to plan your route with their map of all the homes participating!  It'll make your trip so much easier.

This garage sale event comes just a few weeks after Churchill's Grove and Edgewater neighborhoods had their annual neighborhood garage sales, too.  Over 80 homes participated!  Streets were packed with people.  I was one of them!

There are plenty of rules they would love for you to follow while you're driveway shopping at the Chicoy Ridge Neighborhood Garage Sale May 17th and 18th.

• Must park on the even side of the street only
• No parking in front of private driveways or against flow of traffic
• No parking within 15 feet of a fire hydrant
• No parking within 30 feet of a stop sign
• Speed limit is 25MPH 
• Please watch out for pedestrians

This is the perfect kind of weekend: walking from house to house, finding vintage pieces and quirky decor for your home, and filling your car with all your new impulse buys!  maybe that's just me but sometimes garage sale therapy is what you need to relax.
