The costumes are put away. The pumpkins are ready for the garbage. The only thing that remains is the candy. What do you do with it?

Luckily, Parenting put together a list of things that you can do with that leftover candy.

  1. Use the candy in recipes. Imagine peanut butter cups dropped into brownies.
  2. Do-it-yourself trail mix. Take M&M's and mix in pretzels, nuts, and dried fruit.
  3. Pair it with red wine. Dark chocolate and a glass of red? Sounds good.
  4. Save it and use it for a birthday party next year.
  5. Bring it to work. Your co-workers will eat and thank you for bringing it in.
  6. Send it to troops overseas. Check out Operation Shoebox for more info.
  7. Just eat it.
