A Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is Coming to the Chicago Area

What has wheels, purrs and is pink all over? It's a Hello Kitty Cafe Truck and it's making it's way to the Midwest. If you've been talking about heading to Chicago for a day trip or maybe even the weekend but haven't picked a date yet, then make it this one- August 13th. That's when the precious, pink Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is coming to the Oak Brook Center.

According to the event invite on Facebook, you'll be able to score some "super cute" treats from 10 am- 8 pm, and by super cute, they mean stuff like this:

Good morning #Seattle! The #HelloKittyCafe truck is here at the @empmuseum today from 10am-6pm! Visit us by the playground and pick up some sweet treats! The pink tote bags are exclusively available with a food purchase of $25 or more, so don't miss out!

Looking at some reviews of the truck on Yelp, you can expect colorful macaroons topped with mini red bows, mini cookies covered in sprinkles and frosting; cakes and strawberry mint lemonade. OMG.

Is it wrong that I'm kind of hoping that this will be just as popular as the Saved by the Bell pop-up diner and it will stay longer than a day?
