Meet our newest pets of the week from Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary.

I've heard this story story before: an elderly person dies, leaving behind their beloved pets; only to be abandoned by their family who promised to take care of them. It's exactly how I got my dog Pip. When Pip's owner received her terminal cancer diagnosis, she hoped her children would bring Pip to Texas to be with her until she passed. They wanted nothing to do with Pip so they left him sit at the dog sitters for nine months until Diane passed away. She only got to see Pip once before she died and that's when she told the pet sitter that she wanted Pip to become a part of our family, permanently. We couldn't imagine our lives without him; he brings us so much joy every day.

It's my own story that gives me hope for these two Chihuahuas, Willie and Angel. They are the best of friends and now that their owner has passed on and the family doesn't want to take them in, they are looking for a new forever promise. They weren't meant for that family; they were meant for yours. And when they do find their new home, they're going to bring so much happiness into their lives, much like Pip has for us. It was meant to be.
