Afternoon DJ Wins 80th Place At Heritage Run

Do I get a prize for 80^th? OK, it’s not really about what place I finished, but how I got there. Sorry for the dramatics.

The 30^th OSF Heritage Run was yesterday in downtown Rockford and despite the overcast weather conditions along with some pretty tough winds I had a really excellent time.

Congrats to 1^st place finisher, John Heitzman with a time of 31:54 and overall female winner Shannon Teunissen, who finished in 38 minutes and 3 seconds. I finished in 80th with a time of 54 minutes and 17 seconds. I also happened to receive a spiffy new running shirt.
