American Family Field Not Allowing Tailgating At Start of Seaso

Professional baseball is in full swing and some teams will allow fans to watch the game, the way it was meant to be, at the start of the season.

Milwaukee Brewers will allow fans to enjoy America's past time from inside their newly named venue, American Family Field. (Let's be clear about two things, it will always be Miller Park and will never stop being Wrigley North.) What is almost coming along with the field's new name, but also an updated set of rules for fans to abide by.

The absolute biggest rule (a.k.a. kick in the teeth) for baseball fans is there will be no tailgating allowed at the start of the 2021 season. This doesn't mean it will remain that way for the entire season but, for now, no tailgating.

Here are five points more that stand out amongst the rest:

Everyone over the age of two must wear a mask that covers both the nose and mouth at the same time unless someone is eating or drinking. It's a "no exceptions" policy.

No eating or drinking in the concourses, drink rails, in line for concessions, or in the team store, only at assigned seating locations.

Seating pods are the trend at sporting events now to "ensure proper social distancing." The "pods" are six feet away from other fans.

Purses and bags are not allowed. Aside from diaper bags and bags used for medical reasons, American Family Field is allowing clutches and wristlets inside the park.

Don't bring cash, it is no longer king thanks to the pandemic. The home of the Brewers is now 100% cashless. They encourage you physical debit/credit card or use Apple Pay. Google Pay, or touchless credit cards.
