America’s Worst Pizza Joint Has 19 Locations in Illinois

Looking for the worst of the worst when it comes to pizza? Then it would be best if you came to this place.

There's nothing wrong with enjoying a slice of pizza that is more than likely intended for kids, but if that is the case, it should at least be appetizing.

People flock to Chuck E. Cheese because of the party aspect.

I rarely see folks lining up for delicious Chuck E. Cheese because it's their fave.

So, folks love Chuck E. Cheese for birthdays and such, but according to Taste of Home, it is the worst pizza chain in America.

"You probably remember trips to Chuck E. Cheese as a kid. You can now reminise over takeout pizza! The pizza had an unusual crust, almost like a thin cornbread, and unfortunately, it didn't travel well. The sauce was unremarkable, too."

As far as Chuck E. Cheese locations go, the one in Rockford is the last of the "Rocker Stage" bastions that featured Chuck E. Cheese and his animatronic bandmates that used to be featured at many, if not all, restaurants.

So, while it does have that going for it, I would say that's about it when it comes to the pizza.

Everything Taste of Home said rings true and reminded me of my time there a handful of years ago when I tried a Cheeto-topped macaroni and cheese pizza.
