An Award-Winning Artist Recreated An Iconic Dixon Sculpture

An award-winning Dixon artist just unveiled what might be the best painting the town has seen in some time.

Nora Balayti painted the outside of Balayti's Automotive with a homage to a long-standing Dixon sculpture.

If you've traveled to Dixon, there's a good chance you've seen the Wings of Peace.

If you've been on Dixon's westside, you've probably noticed, John's Automotive.

Well, it's not John's Automotive anymore. With Balayti's painting adorned outside, Balayti's Automotive might be one of the coolest buildings in the city.

Not sure if they hand out awards for best outside wall painting, but they should probably start.
