Someone visiting Illinois is three million dollars richer after buying a lottery ticket at a liquor store near Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

Another person has won lifechanging money, and it wasn't me.  Wow.

I'm happy for whoever it was, though.  That's a crazy win.  You have to have the most insane luck in life to win millions of dollars by simply buying a lottery ticket for just a few bucks.

It's safe to say that this tourist visiting Chicago brought home more than just memories, photos, and a Windy City experience.  Wouldn't be surprised if they end up moving to Chicago with their winnings!

"I’ve been to Chicago before, but never had the chance to explore the tourist spots, so on this trip I made sure to see as much as I could," the winner said in a statement released by the Illinois Lottery. "I visited the Skydeck at Willis Tower, checked out some filming locations from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and of course, I couldn’t leave without seeing The Bean." [fox32chicago]
