The Champaign-based sandwich company, founded by Jimmy John Liautaud, has more than 2,800 locations in 43 states and is now owned by Arby's parent company.

Champaign's is reporting that Arby's parent company, Inspire Brands, which also owns Buffalo Wild Wings and Sonic Drive-In, will be acquiring Jimmy John's. The transaction should be final by the end of October. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Jimmy John sold a majority stake in the business in 2016, to a private equity firm in Atlanta. He remained as majority shareholder and chairman of the board. He will drop his chairman position in this new deal, but will remain a brand advisor.

Jimmy John's is still giving away a house though.
