The Champaign-based sandwich company, founded by Jimmy John Liautaud, has more than 2,800 locations in 43 states and is now owned by Arby's parent company.

Champaign's News-Gazette.com is reporting that Arby's parent company, Inspire Brands, which also owns Buffalo Wild Wings and Sonic Drive-In, will be acquiring Jimmy John's. The transaction should be final by the end of October. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Jimmy John sold a majority stake in the business in 2016, to a private equity firm in Atlanta. He remained as majority shareholder and chairman of the board. He will drop his chairman position in this new deal, but will remain a brand advisor.

Jimmy John's is still giving away a house though.
