A new study found that the average person has 64 friends. I've been counting my friends in my head for the last hour, and I came up with like 5. Either I just keep a close circle or I'm a loser.

Yes, I have over a hundred "friends" on Facebook, but do you really consider those people real friends? If you're anything like me, I'm constantly cleaning my Facebook friends because a lot of them are people in my past that I don't have the heart to delete, so I can't count them as real friends.

Here's how the 64 friends thing breaks down-

17 are from work, 14 from school, 14 are made during social activities, 13...social media and 6 are through mutual friends.

The study also found that your closest friend is probably someone you went to school with. And that is true for me. I met my BFF in the 8th grade and we are still going strong.

But after doing the breakdown listed above...I still only have a few friends, so again, do I just have a close circle, or am I ...indeed...a loser?
