Becca’s Closet Giving Away 1,000 Homecoming Dresses Starting Tomorrow

Becca's Closet officially opens tomorrow with 1,000 homecoming dresses available this season.

WIFR is reporting that Becca's Closet is opening tomorrow, September 7, through Saturday October 5 for girls in the Stateilne area in need of homecoming dresses.

Becca's Closet was started by a 16 year old girl from Florida who realized that some girls couldn't afford to get dresses and accessories for homecoming.

The Rockford chapter was started in 2011 by Rockford Area Lutheran Ministries and has spent eight years outfitting local girls with dresses, accessories and shoes, giving away an average of 1,000 dresses every year.

Becca's Closet is located at 1829 North Rockton Avenue and will be open Saturdays from 9 until 11:30 a.m. for the next five Saturday mornings.
