Largest Fireworks Display in Chicago Suburbs

Straight from the press release, The 2023, show located in Hamilton Lakes, west of O'Hare International Airport at the intersection of I-390 and Park Boulevard, marks 26 years since the first 4th of July celebration at the scenic Itasca site -- an event notable for being the largest fireworks display in Illinois.

This last one is dubbed, Illinois' Largest Fireworks Display, and it happens in Peoria. Carle Health Red, White & BOOM, Illinois' largest firework show, takes place on the Illinois River between Peoria and East Peoria. The 30-minute show begins at 9:30 p.m., following a military flyover from the Illinois Air National Guard at 9 p.m.
