10 Larger-Than-Life Sculptures You Gotta See At Popular Illinois Botanic Garden
Who's ready to see 10 of the biggest bugs to ever exist in Illinois this summer? It's not too far out of reach at Rockford's Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden.
Remember watching A Bug's Life and wondering if bugs could actually talk to us in the real world? Well, this is as close as you can get to that!
David Rogers' Big Bugs: The Pollinators Exhibit
This is going to be a fun summer adventure for you and your entire family!
From June 10th through September 10th, you can visit the Big Bugs: The Pollinators Exhibit and Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden to see 10 larger-than-life sculptures made solely out of reclaimed forest wood and natural materials.
Yes, this exhibit is for visitors of all ages, don't think you'll be the only adult there wanting to see giant bugs. I want to make a visit myself and I'm 25!
"artist David Rogers’ work has been shown throughout the entire United States since 1994. This will be the first time his work is showcased in the Northern Illinois region outside of the Chicago area." [Klehm Arboretum]
Throughout the 155-acres of gardens, you can walk through tons of sculptures you can get up close and admire.
If it's anything like the Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects Made with LEGO® Bricks exhibition, you know this Big Bug exhibit will be awesome!
