Big Papa’s BBQ Now Honoring Gift Cards After Abruptly Closing

Many customers stuck with gift cards they couldn't use, after the restaurant closed near the end of 2018, can now redeem them.

Big Papa's BBQ sold many gift cards toward the end of 2018 and then abruptly closed, leaving some very upset customers. Jamie Farley, who opened the BBQ joint on Forest Hills Road, was not operating the restaurant when they closed and left people holding now useless gift cards, according to wrex.com.

Farley has always been committed to making things right and now he's providing those with the gift cards, a chance to redeem them.

Jamie Farley (AKA Big Papa). has returned to the restaurant business and will be serving his ribs, pulled pork and brisket inside Rocky’s Bar and Grill at 5314 N Second St. in Loves Park.
