Breathtaking Ice Castles are Coming to Wisconsin Dells This Month

Winters in Wisconsin are known for heavy snow, sunless days and bitter wind chills; wind chills so low they nearly take your breath away.

When we talk about things being breathtaking, it's generally a good thing; and in Wisconsin weather terms it's not, but when it comes to winter itself; it can be. Just take a look at some of these ice castles that look like they came straight from the movie Frozen.

According to OnlyinYourState, a Utah company is bringing these fairytale like sculptures to the Wisconsin Dells this month and tickets go on sale soon.

The company, Ice Castles, only does this in a few select cities each year. Families, groups and couples from around the country who've had the pleasure of experiencing this magical winter wonderland say the views are like nothing they've ever seen; the cider and hot chocolate really hit the spot and it's the perfect place for a romantic date.

Because the structures are totally dependent on the weather, the hope is to have this attraction open to the public by the end of December.
