‘Cammy Can’ Wants to Help Kris Bryant
Are you reading this, Kris Bryant? Cammy wants to run the bases with you!
Cammy Babiarz was born with Rhett Syndrome and her parents have being doing their best to make her life as normal as possible, and extra fun.
Her parents created a Facebook page called Cammy Can, to raise awareness of the disease and to help out with that "extra fun" part.
Last year Cammy was able to skate with Blackhawks player Duncan Keith, as part of the team's #WhatsYourGoal program. After she met him, the team won the cup and Keith won a prestigious award.
Cammy and her family are now turning their social media team on Kris Bryant. Her parents posted her 2016 bucket list on their Facebook page, Cammy Can, which includes:
Run the bases of Wrigley field with Kris Bryant
Go down a waterslide
Raise over $100,000 for Rhett research
Meet Tom Skilling
Go to Medieval Times
Go fishing
Plant a tree
First and most important is that run with Kris Bryant. Our Cubs are really good this year, but I'm pretty sure we could still use some of that Cammy/Blackhawks magic!
