Craft Brewery On Riverside Sheds Light On Potential Opening Day

Fans of Urban Forest Craft Brewing have been patiently waiting for the doors of their brewery to open.

Located at 6551 East Riverside Boulevard, near Buddy's Burgers and Rock Pho'd, Urban Forest Craft Brewing will soon be a destination for fans of locally crafted brew to meet and hang out.

It's been a while though, like a long while. The wait for fans of the Rockford based beer company to open their doors seems it's been just as difficult for one of the co-founders.

After the question, "What's going on with Urban Craft Brewing on Riverside. Been there forever without opening?" popped up on Reddit, one of the co-founders spoke up.

Alex, Head Brewer/Co-Founder Urban Forest Craft Brewing:

We are getting close to (finally) opening. We are busy brewing & finishing up some projects on the taproom side. Most of our permits are in place and with luck we'll be able to set a date soon.

Maybe St. Patrick's Day? Perfect day for a new Rockford brewery to open. Just saying.
