We knew the World Series Trophy was headed to The Forest City, but now we know when and where.

As we end 2016, we are all looking back at what happened this year. You know what? There was a lot of terrible. But, when you ask your friends and family what was the best moment? Chances are they will say when the Cubs won the World Series.

2017 is going to start off on the right foot, as the Chicago Cubs World Series Trophy travels to Rockford on Jan. 8.

That Sunday, the trophy will start in Freeport at the Masonic Temple from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., then, it will head to the BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford at 3 p.m.

The IceHogs are playing the Chicago Wolves, and the trophy will be there until 6:45 p.m. in the main concourse.

Will you be there?
