Date Night With Rockford Mayor Thomas McNamara

This unique night is not the date night you're thinking of, it's actually more like speed dating was done. Nonetheless, it's a great idea.

Something new from the top floor of Rockford's City Hall has me intrigued. Mayor McNamara, just a couple of months ago, started something called 'Mayor's Coffee Talk', where he would sit in a coffee shop and have a conversation with Rockford residents. Now  it's 'Night Out With The Mayor', and instead of a group discussion, it will be one-on-one style. Just you and Mayor McNamara having a private, 5-minute conversation.

The first 'Night Out...' will be at one of Rockford's best restaurants, Lucha Cantina, in the Edgebrook Shopping Center.
