It's been over 3 months since McHenry County Sheriff's Deputy Jacob Keltner was killed in the line of duty at the Extended Stay America in Rockford, and not a day goes by that I don't wonder how his family is doing since his tragic death.

Deputy Keltner left behind a loving wife and two sons named Carson and Caleb, and yesterday the family received a pretty amazing gift from a 14-year-old girl from Florida.

According to mystateline.com, Megan O’Grady, the daughter of a Florida police officer, founded a non-profit called Blue Line Bears back in 2016 that makes personalized bears for the families of American law enforcement officers that died in the line of duty.

Along with creating a bear made with parts of the fallen officer's uniform, Megan travels the country to personally deliver the bears, and yesterday she made a stop at the McHenry County Sheriff's Office with a special delivery for Deputy Keltner's two sons.

After her stop in Woodstock yesterday, Megan then headed to Chicago to deliver for more bears to the families of two fallen Chicago Police officers.

Megan O’Grady, you are one amazing young woman. Your caring and devoted heart is remarkable and, no doubt provides so much comfort to grieving law enforcement families all over this nation. God bless you, and your continued mission to help the children of fallen officers deal with a devastating loss.
