If you use scissors to cut your pizza you probably don't care about this thing.

Actually, I'm not sure why people would cut their pizza with scissors but apparently, it has grown in popularity over the years.

For me, it's always been about the fancy pizza slicer when it comes to chopping up my pie.

Did you know at Lou Malnati's, employees use something that I can best describe as machete-like to slice their thick crust pizza? It's awesome and I've always wanted to have my own after getting a chance to mess with one a few years back.

Watch the video below to see what I'm talking about.

Until I get my very own machete pizza slicer, I guess I'll have to stick with the garden variety pizza slicer, that is unless, the folks at Greathouse of Pizza in Casey, Illinois want to give me theirs.

At Greathouse of Pizza, they apparently have the World's Largest Pizza Slicer.

Roadside America:

Built in 2020. It's eight feet long, with a blade that could slice a pizza over a foot thick.

I'm not sure why this is a thing but if you consider the year it was built, that might be the best and only necessary explanation as to why the World's Largest Pizza Slicer exists.

Besides the interesting addition to the front of Greathouse Pizza, it looks like the team in the kitchen takes pizza creation real serious.

Check out this Frozen-inspired Olaf pizza. Hey, it's a "Frozen pizza." Get it? OK. Moving on.

Then there's their take on the famous Ghostbusters logo:

If Greathouse of Pizza served this pizza with a Hi-C Ecto Cooler on the side, I'd be in Ghostbusters heaven.

You can check out the World's Largest Pizza Slicer in person at Greathouse Pizza in Casey at 904 North IL-49.
