Are you getting tired of hunting for virtual Pokemon on your smartphone?

That's cool because the guy who runs Fat Finger Photography in Dixon is hiding real life Pokemon in Dixon, Rock Falls, and Sterling in hopes that people will find them.

The guy behind the real life Pokemon Go extravaganza is Zach Hill. Hill told KWQC 6 why he decided to give the Pokemon Go craze a new twist "I kind of thought out of the blue one day like I think it would be kind of cool to actually like 3D print Pokemon and maybe put it out and see if you know, people would be interested in actually like finding one."

All this using a 3D printer. How cool is that? If you're ever in the Dixon area and you happen to see a real life Pokemon, make sure you take a photo and post it to the Fat Finger Photography Facebook page.
