This is just a little PSA for Fred VanVleet, to let him know that there's a random dude in a Roscoe bar that's willing to fight a stranger for $300 if someone bad mouths you in his presence.

This lovely video popped up on my TikTok when I was wasting brain cells the other day. Warning, it does have some pretty NSFW language. It's hard to make everything out but the f-bombs do come through rather clearly.

Just an amazing freak out by a man who is guessing is at least 3 degrees of separation from Fred VanVleet. I've never understood the concept of fighting another person in a bar let alone fighting another person at a bar to defend the honor of a basketball player.

Again, I'm a huge VanVleet fan. Wonderful story, and he's remained true to his roots. A really awesome story that should be celebrated all over the country and not just in the Rockford area. But short of someone accusing a family member of heinous crimes, I'm not fighting anyone at any bar.

This guy however, just one perceived slight of Rockford's hometown hero and he's literally ready to throw down in the parking lot for a sum of $300.

The 300 bucks part is hilarious. I think it means he really meant it. Like the guy that retorted with an offer of $1000 bucks probably doesn't actually have a grand on him. I'm pretty sure our VanVleet defender had at least 15 Jacksons in his wallet and was willing to put in on the line for Fred VanVleet's honor.

The caption on this TikTok said that it was from a bar in Roscoe. I'm not familiar with the Roscoe dive bar scene. Can anyone confirm if this is in Roscoe?

This guy should take solace. I'm not sure what was said to inflame the passions in this man, but it should be known that Fred is living a very good life at the moment, no mater what that other dude was saying.
