Now you're wondering why I referenced cheese in the opening sentence.  Well, Yung Gravy, aka Matthew Raymond Hauri, grew up in Wisconsin and is a graduate student from UW-Madison!

I had no idea he was even from the Midwest until my friend just told me he went to Yung Gravy's concert over the weekend at the Wisconsin Capitol.  Yung Gravy was performing a free show during the Taste of Madison festival.

In December of 2017, Yung Gravy earned his degree in Marketing at UW-Madison, but also started rapping for fun on SoundCloud and social media early in college.

His hobby paid off and here he is sitting with a net worth of nearly 3 million dollars, a ton of celebrity friends, and a whole lotta paparazzi.

Since the MTV Awards, Yung Gravy has gained a lot of attention online since going public with Addison Rae's own mother, Sheri Easterling.

The internet is all over the drama and I'm embarrassed to say I am, too...

Fun fact: the famous rapper wasn't always 'Yung Gravy'.  He changed his stage name multiple times and you'll never guess what he called himself - Yung Gravity.  Other than that, he was once Lil Streamer.

You can check out his latest music here.  Maybe you'll randomly spot him walking the grounds of University of Wisconsin one day just like Drake did at Drake University!  Keep your eyes peeled for the gravy train!
