That's precisely what happened to MItchell O'Brien of Michigan just a few days ago.

A Beach Date Turns Into a Rescue

O'Brien went out for a walk on the beach with Breanne Sika and ended up waist deep in quicksand. They were both in the beginning of stages of dating.

Sika had to call 911 to get O'Brien out. While it appears that no harm was done to O'Brien, other than possibly getting wet, the best part of the story is that the two defined their relationship, according to O'Brien.
