Woohoo!  It's finally Friday! Today, a possible teachers strike, more protests in St. Louis, what friends you should leave at home, new studying tips and movies out this weekend!

Teachers Strike Still A Possibility 

Belvidere teachers and the district are just a couple of issues away from finalizing a contact deal according to Eyewitness news. The two sides will meet on Tuesday. If they don't reach an agreement by next Thursday, the teachers could vote to strike.

Protesters In St. Louis

Fox News is reporting that violent protests in St. Louis are a result of another deadly officer involved shooting. Police say an off-duty officer working as a security guard shot and killed an armed man after the gunman fired at the officer.

Friends. They are good for something...except working out with! According to experts, there are three types of friends you shouldn't workout with. Unless you're super fit, you should stay away from that crazy fit friend of yours and workout with someone who is closer to your fitness level. Also, the friend who is too encouraging. They are just a distraction. And you should never workout with the friend who hates fitness...for obvious reasons!

A Smarter Way To Study

Are you currently in school? Here are some ways for smarter studying. Try taking notes by hand. It takes longer and will give you time to really think about what your writing. Try testing yourself instead of re-reading the same chapter 12 times. People who test themselves were found to do better on tests over studying. Need more tips?
