Foods You CAN’T Feed Your Dog on Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is one of the best food days of the year. Your family is all gathered around the table, there's food all over the kitchen, spills are inevitable. However, don't let your dog play vacuum like you normally do. There are a lot of Thanksgiving foods that can be toxic to dogs. Here's a list of things NOT to give your dog on turkey day -
- Turkey skin, drippings, & gravy
- Turkey twine
- Turkey bones
- Raisins & grapes
- Fat trimmings & fatty foods
- Corn on the cob
- Candied Yams
- Bread dough
Some of those should be a no-brainer. A lot of the items listed above are things you should be aware of year-round such as chocolate and grapes. Thanksgiving is a hectic night, you might think you can just let your dog eat something that falls off of your plate. But you need to think twice before letting that happen.
Your pets will be extra thankful for you for keeping them safe and healthy.
