Flooding has become a serious issue across the Midwest in the past week. A lot of families are being affected by the floods and some local businesses are doing their best to help. Generations Brewing Company in Freeport, IL is making a pledge to help flood victims.

Generations Brewing Company will take $1 from every sale on Wednesdays and Thursdays for the remainder of the month and donate the money to Freeport Flooding Relief with the Salvation Army. The brewery also encourages the public to give back with its upcoming "spring cleaning" event​ on Wednesday. Generations Brewing Co. partners up with the Salvation Army and the Freeport Dream Center to provide flood relief. People can drop off physical and monetary donations after 3 p.m.

Generations Brewing Company is open from 3-10 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3-11 p.m. on Fridays and 12-11 p.m. on Saturdays. You can visit the brewery at 1400 S. Adams Ave in Freeport.
