'Tis the season for pumpkins and apple cider and amazing fall light shows at Goebbert's Pumpkin Patch.

Goebbert's is hard to spell, but it's not hard to enjoy.

This year the 'enjoying' is going to epic levels as Goebbert's adds an incredible fall light show to the Pumpkin Patch experience.

The light show boats over 1.5 million lights that you can drive through in your own car, which will be replaced by a holiday light show when winter arrives.

Goebbert's Pumpkin Patch & Apple Orchard is about 45 minutes from Rockford, at 42 W 813 Reinking Rd in Pingree Grove.

Tickets are $20 for cars holding up to nine passengers, with larger van tickets going for $50. You can also buy a multi-visit pass for $35.

The light show is being produced by the same family that brings the Larsen Christmas Light Show each year, that I've never seen, but, I have friends who make a point to go every single year no matter what.

I can only imagine this Halloween version will be just as awesome.
