A high school in Pennsylvania issued a "sexist letter" to students before senior awards night that has taken the internet by storm.

This had to have been written by a student, right? I can't imagine a faculty member would refer to breasts as "the girls", fat as "sausage rolls" or said something like "you can't put 10 pounds of mud in a five pound stack." It's hard enough being a teenager as it is, filled with insecurities about their appearance;  but to use they're weight and how they dress as a punchline? Completely inappropriate.

The school district issued a statement saying that they "regret that the document contained some unfortunate word choices, we do respect all students and hope this does not distract from the dignity of the graduation ceremony and the accomplishments of our graduating class."

For her part, Burtop hopes that the school will apologize and change the letter.

What do you think? Is this the kind of letter you'd want your child coming home with in regards to a senior award or graduation ceremony?
