It is time for Illinois residents to add a few hundred dollars of Google's money to your nearly $400 from Facebook,

This is some great news if you already spent all of your Facebook lawsuit money. Google settled a class-action lawsuit and it's now time to file a claim and get paid, again.

That Time I Felt Like the Dumbest Guy in the Room

I remember hearing about that Facebook class-action suit and how we were asked to fill out some online document so we could be added to the list of Illinois residents who would receive a settlement check. I didn't do that. I have trust issues with Facebook and I thought the whole thing might have been what you call, "too good to be true."

It was true and now I'm super envious of everyone who got their $397 from Facebook.

What did you do with your $397 from Facebook?

I was asked that question during a conversation with a few co-workers and that's exactly when I felt like the dumbest guy in the room.

If you filed a claim and haven't gotten your Facebook money, here's how to check the status.

Don't Miss Out On Getting a Settlement Check from Google

I will not make the same mistake twice. Google is in the midst of finalizing settlement payouts from a class-action lawsuit for pretty much the same reasons that put nearly four hundred dollars in your bank account.

Google didn't do what they were supposed to do with our photos. Specifically, Google violated the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act by "collecting and storing biometric data of individuals who, while residing in Illinois, appeared in a photograph in the photograph sharing and storage service known as Google Photos, without proper notice and consent."

Guess what time it is?

It's time to get paid and NBCChicago.com shared the good news.
