IceHogs And Blackhawks Team Up For ‘World’s Largest Street Hockey Tournament’

HockeyFest is coming to the United States for the first time and they'll be dropping the puck in Chicago.

The tournament is skating into the United Center, home of the Chicago Blackhawks, on June 22-23. If you don't know, HockeyFest features:

more than 30 divisions ranging across age, gender and skill level, hockey players of all ages, including adults, are invited to participate. All divisions U9 and under will have a roster of nine players (four + goalie) and all divisions older will have a roster of up to seven players (three + goalie).

There are all sorts of prizes teams can win including tickets, swag, and an invite to an exclusive event at the MB IceArena after the tournament wraps.

If you're interested in getting a Rockford area team together for the tournament, registration is open now. According to IceHogs.com, "Use the promo code 'YOUTH' to receive a $50 discount on registration fees."
