Illinois’ Favorite Board Games: A Blast from the Past
Ah, the good old days when board games ruled the house. Before I got a cell phone as a kid, I was always playing board games with my family. You too?
Looking back at my childhood, I remember I was either playing outside or playing Sorry with my mom at the kitchen table. Now, everyone's glued to their phones and don't have an attention span to sit for even a few seconds!

If you could count how many times you've played a board game recently, would it be more than what you can count on your fingers? Probably not.
Luckily, I never lost my love for checkers and mancala, I still play them a few times a week at home! And no, not on my phone. I have the physical games!
What board games do you remember playing the most as a kid? Here's what a lot of Rockford residents remember from the past. Giving so much nostalgia just hearing these games, honestly.
