Most Popular Pizza Toppings In America

If you're ordering a bunch of pizzas for the Super Bowl, what kind of toppings do you like? If you say pineapple, I won't judge you.

My family doesn't care about sports, especially football.

If we do watch the big game, it's always just for the commercials, Super Bowl Halftime Show, and a reason to order pizza - I know, we're that type of family.

Every year, my parents order from Sam's Pizza or Schnuck's Pizzeria in Rockford.

We always order mushrooms, black olives, spinach, green peppers, and sausage as the toppings. One of these is actually Illinois' favorite pizza topping... and surprisingly, it's not sausage.

Other than Illinois, 11 other states chose mushrooms as their favorite topping, as well. Wisconsin, Indiana, and Iowa were just a few on the list!
