Illinois Has Some of The Most Diverse Cities & Rockford Made The List
Wallethub recently reported that Illinois is home to some of the most diverse cities in the country. I've lived in Illinois my entire life and I even attended college down in Champaign-Urbana and personally I've always felt like Illinois is an incredibly diverse state.
My theory has been confirmed! According to Wallethub here are the cities in Illinois that made the list include -
- Chicago, IL
- Aurora, IL
- Elgin, IL
- Waukegan, IL
- Rockford, IL
- Joliet, IL
- Peoria, IL
- Naperville, IL
- Springfield, IL
- Cicero, IL

So the study ranked cities based on their size. On the big city list Chicago came in 13th and Aurora came in 15th. Elgin came in 8th for middle sized cities and Waukegan came in 12 for small cities. Rockford was on the list of medium sized cities and came in 38th. Not too shabby!
