A janitor at an Illinois elementary school has reached rock star status and signed every second grader's yearbook.

Making my heart melt. This is such an adorable story. When I was in elementary school, I don't recall anyone thinking our janitor was cool. If anything, he was mocked and ridiculed for what he did yet no one even knew who he was. But if we've learned anything about school janitors from The Breakfast Club, it's that the janitor is the eyes and the ears of the school. They read our notes, they hear our conversations; they know a lot about us that we probably didn't think they did. Sure it may not always be a good thing that the janitor knows your business but it's pretty cool if you have someone else at school that you feel comfortable talking to.

ABC News, "I get along great with the kids. They are really great. We joke around a bunch and they're able to talk to me and stuff like that."

In addition to the 104 second graders, Mr. Steve signed 200 more from other classes.  Way to go, Mr. Steve.
