Illinois Residents Might Struggle to Keep New Year’s Resolutions
Oh, I know we all feel motivated when January comes around. New year, new goals, more time to really think about what we want to accomplish this year. We've all been there: convincing ourselves this is the year we become the better version of ourselves.

Illinois Residents Might Struggle to Keep New Year’s Resolutions
Illinois landed right in the middle of the pack at #28. Not the worst, but not the best. That's pretty on-brand with us. We're basically not completely giving up by mid-January, but also not thriving like we hope we'd be. We're tired, but we still have a little juice left to keep trying.
Honestly? Between long workdays, winter dragging on forever, and the mental struggle to leave the house when it's 12 degrees outside, sticking to a resolution can feel like another full-time job. You miss one workout, order takeout instead of cooking, and suddenly your "new routine" feels extremely optional.

- Mississippi
- Massachusetts
- Arkansas
- Texas
- Oklahoma
- Montana
- Kansas
It's interesting to see how quickly motivation drops across the country once January ends. People start off so strong, then become really burnout. So if you've already bent your resolution a little, consider this permission to stop beating yourself up. It happens, we're human, and you always have a new day to start over!
