Are our closets filled with beanie babies worth cash?

Potentially. Just this week a huge story has been going around about a couple that bought a beanie baby from a garage sale that ended up being worth $93,000.

I would really like $93,000. I would even really like $9,300. So I decided to find the Princess Diana beanie baby that I knew was in my house and figure out if it's worth any money.

It wasn't too easy to figure out the particulars that your beanie baby needs to be a first edition bear, worth all the money, but I did find a list at answers.com. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I once owned a book about beanie baby prices, but I don't know what happened to it. And I'm kind of ok with that.

So I took the answers.com list and my bear and compared. There's a chance I have one of the originals, but due to a major beanie baby collector fail I'm not sure.
