It's bad enough it's Monday but someone made matters even worse when they drove their vehicle into some freshly poured concrete.

The picture of a red Ford caravan with its front wheels buried in concrete was uploaded to the Loves Park Neighborhood Watch Group last Monday.

In case you're wondering, this is at the corner of 20th and Harrison Avenue in Rockford and an intersection one Facebook commenter says "is never going to open back to normal. It's only been two years."

This isn't the first (or last) time something like this happened in town either.

A Facebook comment said it a similar incident occurred at "Sandy Hollow & Alpine last year" and wondered if it's the same person behind the wheel. What are the chances?

Regardless, the look on the face of the road construction worker while looking down at the red caravan in the wet concrete says it all, "I probably should've called in sick."
