This Abandoned Dental Office in Illinois Was Once Home to a Murdering Dentist?

Fear of going to the dentist is something we all experience at some point in our lives, but your dental phobia may kick into high gear after looking at these terrifying photos of an abandoned dental office in Illinois.

Terrifying Abandoned Buildings in Illinois

Like so many other people these days, I'm obsessed with looking at photos of abandoned buildings. I belong to several Facebook groups that highlight weird and fascinating abandoned places in Illinois, Wisconsin, and beyond, but my favorite one to check out is Decaying Midwest.

Going inside any abandoned building is usually trespassing and always dangerous, so I'm not sure how Decaying Midwest captures all its content, (I'm assuming they get permission first?),  but I can truly spend hours a day looking at the photos it posts.

It couldn't have closed not too long ago considering the computers and the dental chairs look like they're in remarkable shape. Was this in Rockford? I just started to Google this.

First off, in case you don't know, listing specific locations is a big no-no in most Facebook groups that highlight photos of abandoned places, so I highly doubt that the commenter will ever get the answer he seeks. I decided to do a little Googling myself...

Yes, there was a dentist in Rockford who made headlines after a wrongful death lawsuit was filed against him in 2021, BUT that dentist is still open and accepting patients, so I think it's safe to say it's not him. Who could this alleged 'murdering' dentist in Illinois be? We may never truly know, but I'll keep searching for the answer LOL!
