Oh boy, we've got ourselves a missed connection in Oregon, Illinois! And it sounds like the beginning of a romance novel straight out of a country song.

But alas, fate had other plans, and the two possible (but unlikely) soul mates missed each other outside of Riverside Liquor in Oregon.

I can't help but imagine the bearded, tattooed guy walking out of the liquor store with a six-pack of beer, getting into his Chevy truck, and then driving off into the sunset.

Little did he know, his potential soulmate was sitting in her black jeep with her furry friend, just waiting for him to notice her.

Meanwhile, the girl with the dog in the black jeep is probably thinking, "What could have been?" as she drives away from the Riverside liquor store, wondering if she'll ever meet her bearded, tattooed prince charming.

It's a shame really, because they could have had a great time together. They could have bonded over their love of dogs and maybe even gone on a hike in the beautiful Oregon wilderness.

Who knows, maybe they could have even fallen in love and gotten matching tattoos of each other's faces on their forearms.

But alas, they missed their chance. It's like Romeo and Juliet, except without the tragic ending. Although, who knows what kind of tragedy could have ensued if they did actually meet?

Maybe the girl's dog would have attacked the bearded, tattooed guy, or maybe they would have realized that they have nothing in common besides their love of alcohol.
