
Body Found in Creek Identified as Missing Chicago-Area Man
A body recovered from a creek in Chicago's northwest suburbs has been identified as a missing Elgin man, according to the Kane County Coroner's Office.
Authorities say the body of an adult male was pulled from Jelkes Creek in West Dundee on Monday. Following an autopsy conducted Wednesday, the man was identified as Joseph L. Johnson Jr., 52, of Elgin. He has been reported missing by family on January 22nd.
