Man Arrested Twice in One Day in Oregon, Illinois After Back-to-Back Thefts
Talk about your tough luck; a man was arrested twice in one day.
The man is Mark Everett, 39, from Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Police say he was picked up after stealing from a Shell gas station at 201 South 4th Street in Oregon.
He wasn't exactly at the Shell when he got arrested, as My Stateline says he was "fleeing police a half hour after it was reported."

Oregon Police took Everett to the Ogle County Jail, processed him, and then released him. He was also given a notice to appear in court later.
Adding to the intrigue, just four hours later, Everett was apprehended again, this time at Oregon SuperValu, 204 North Street, just a stone's throw away from the scene of his first crime.
This time, he was left with correctional deputies, according to My Stateline.
The repeated nature of Everett's thefts, both at the Shell and Supervalu, raises concerns about the crime rate in Oregon.
Could there be a more significant theft problem in Oregon? I doubt that, considering Everett was identified as someone who lives in Kenosha.
The most reassuring aspect of these consecutive arrests (in just four hours!) was the swift and decisive action taken by the Oregon Police Department to remove a lawbreaker from the streets, ensuring the safety of the community.
