Kinnikinnick District Offering Breakfast & Lunch For All Students
The need for food for some children is a serious matter. Unfortunately, there is a large number of children that count on school for food and the fear escalated after Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced all schools in the state will be closing. Thankfully, districts like Kinnikinnick are stepping up in this time of need.
Kinnikinnick District in Roscoe will set up three “drive-thru” pick up service locations, free of charge, for any family that would like breakfast and/or lunch. Simply drive up and pick up one breakfast and one lunch for any child in your home under the age of 18.
These sack meals will include all of the necessary meal components set forth by the USDA, including a fruit/vegetable and milk. Allergy aware lunches WILL be available, please let us know when you pick up if you need a peanut-free lunch.
