A 112-year-old lifelong Chicago White Sox fan finally goes to his first game.

I feel pretty lucky. I'm a big sports fan. I've seen all my favorite teams live. In fact, I've even checked out some games when I wasn't a fan.

For many, it's a bucket list thing to see their team in person. Some will never be able to do it.

For this lucky lifelong Chicago White Sox fan, it's better late than never. He finally attended a game at the age of 112.

According to chicagotribune.com,

"Lansing resident CP Crawford has been a White Sox fan for more than a 100 years but had never been to a game. That changed Thursday thanks to community activist Andrew Holmes and the White Sox organization. Holmes is the executive director of Club 100, which picks up 100-year-old or older residents in the area by limo and brings them to a banquet and gala every year."

The two had met through the club. During a discussion, the man admitted he had never been to a game because back in the day, he was always busy working.

Well, that recently changed. Club 100 surprised the Sox fan with a trip the Guaranteed Rate Field.

They honored him before the game. He watched the game from a suite. He even met Hall of Fame player, Harold Baines.

I would say that's a pretty good day for someone that's been a fan for over 100 years.
